LeafGuard Gutters of St. Cloud Case Studies: Cutting into Rain Gutters
It is common for split level homes to have different roof elevations above one another. Finding placement for downspouts can be a challenge.
Our installers hung a section of LeafGuard on the highest roof elevation. They created a downspout using A & B elbows, to angle the downspout and turn into the lower gutter. They cut a hole big enough in the top of the lower gutter cover, to insert and connect the downspout between both roof lines. Water is now properly drained from the highest run, down to the lower run, and out the lower gutters downspout. Homeowners no longer have to worry about water entering their basement!
To connect the downspout from the higher gutter run to the lower run, our installers used a B elbow, 3 ft of downspout, B Elbow, 2 ft of downspout and (2) 30-degree elbows
